www.bestsyndication.com Have you ever wondered why banks continually change mortgage interest rates? There are many factors that help lenders determine both fixed rate and ARM mortgages. This video will explain how the interest rate is determined. There are many factors that affect mortgage rates including government bonds, rates that the government sponsored enterprise charge and the London Interbank Offered Rate. In this information program, we will discuss how these benchmarks are used to help bankers determine mortgage rates. One common benchmark cited for determining mortgage rates is the Federal Funds rate. This is the rate that banks charge other banks for overnight operations. That rate is currently in a range between zero and 0.25 percent. The discount rate is the Federal Reserve’s primary interest rate. This is the rate that the Federal Reserve, also known as our central bank, charges member banks. Unlike the Federal Funds rate, the Federal Reserve Bank has absolute power in determining this interest rate. The current primary rate for the member banks is 0.75 percent. Banks that are not eligible for this primary rate are charged 1.25 percent. A third seasonal rate is for small depository institutions that need to meet seasonal requirements. The Prime Rate is what banks charge their best customers, usually corporations and large companies. This rate is typically 2.5 to 3 percent above the Federal Funds rate. These rates rarely change, so why do mortgage rates …

SOURCE: rpsomerton on Feb 3, 2012 Feb 3 2012 Bank of America Lakeport, Ca. I attempted to make a cash payment on our mortgage, the manager refused to take the cash saying it was against bank policy. I was shocked, had no idea this would happen, since when does a bank not accept cash… Right! When I protested, the manager called the Lakeport poilce dept. After being detained for about 1/2 hour and nearly arrested for shooting video inside the bank the cops decided to let me go. The BofA manager made a complaint against me and had the cops inform me that I am “no longer welcome inside the Lakeport branch of Bank of America.” Also that if I “ever attempted to enter the branch again I WILL be arrested!” So apparently Bank of America DOES NOT accept American cash dollars as a form of payment on mortgages in AMERICA! PROTEST & YOU WILL BE ARRESTED!

The Stench of Truth radio show airs every Friday 7-9PM Eastern time on: www.inceptionradionetwork.com and http www.platformforthefuture.com http www.tenebroust-populistpolitics.blogspot.com The Stench of Truth (493).mp4 Some background. It may seem like I focus on the republicans and the lunatic right a lot but I have and will continue to call out the democrats for their shill behavior. I was on Obama long before he was the democratic candidate in 2008. One need look at the campaign financing to see that both parties are paid by the same people. Look at Pelosi and Reid bith got big money from “healthcare industry” which is 99% health insurance companies that’s why we have the mis-named “Affordable Care Act” or Obamacare which is a bailout of insurance companies which are wedded to the banks and deep in the fraud of derivatives and the mortgage fiasco. Under it you are forced to pay too much for a crappy policy that doesn’t cover much. THE INSURANCE INDUSTRY IS THE BIGGEST COST FACTOR BY FAR IN THE WHOLE HEALTHCARE DEBATE. Get rid of them with single payer and you save hundreds of billions of dollars every year. Should the protesters be in Wall Street, Chicago, London to protest the banks or should they be protesting the FED? Wall Street and the banks of course. Why? Because how do you think it works? Do you think Ben and the boys call up JP Morgan and tell them what to do or is it the other way around? The banks are the problem. There is a multistate deal being floated …

According to BusinessWeek, Bank of America is pushing back when offering loan modifications to people who are complaining publicly. The catch is the borrower must stay quiet and remove any previous criticisms of the bank from public records, like tweets or facebook. According to one borrower the bank included this language, “The borrower “will remove and delete any online statements regarding this dispute, including, without limitation, postings on Facebook, Twitter and similar websites,” and not make any statements “that defame, disparage or in any way criticize” the bank’s reputation, practices or conduct, according to documents filed in state court in Phoenix.”
